We Are Now Offering Donation Pick-Ups!
We offer free pick-ups for select material, stipulations may apply.
Please fill out the pick-up form below to see if your donation qualifies.
All items must be in good, reusable condition, and include all parts in working order.
Materials must be free of structural damage, pest damage, mold, rot, and excessive dirt.
Please note: Our Receiving staff is not always available to help unload large quantities of material or heavy material. To ensure acceptance and to speed up the drop-off process, please bring heavy/large items on a pallet for easy forklift off-load. Or, bring extra help with you to ensure a fast turnaround.
Material Acceptance Guidelines
Please review the specific material guidelines below before donating. We are not able to approve donations until we see the material in person.
Items we DO NOT accept:
Clothing, mattresses or bedding
Heavily used or stained toilets
Office partitions
Industrial or automotive chemicals and parts
Fluorescent, incandescent, halogen, or tube light bulbs
Used smoke detectors or expired fire extinguishers

Material Acceptance Specifications

We do not accept appliances more than five years old.
All appliances must be energy efficient. Exceptions may be made for vintage appliances that are in excellent condition.
Kitchen appliances, such as refrigerators, microwaves, ovens, range hoods, and dishwashers must not contain any food items and should be clean and free from mold. Seals must be intact and functional.

We generally accept dressers, tables, chairs, book shelves, shelving, desks, stools, ottomans, chests, file cabinets, & bed frames.
Upholstery must be in tact.
Accepted on a limited basis: commercial furniture, lab tables, library and school furniture.

Must be free from chips, cracks, scratches. Vintage & antique mirrors can show their age.
We accept tempered glass.
We do not accept broken or unframed mirrors.

Lumber & trim must be 4' long or longer.
Plywood must be quarter, half, or full size sheet.
Lumber & plywood must be free of nails, rot, pests, termite damage, peeling paint, and excessive bowing.
Wallboard and drywall must be in unused half (4’), full (8’), or XL (12’) sheets.
Vinyl or aluminum siding must be in full lengths.
Pipe (PVC/ABS/aluminum/steel) must be at least 2’ in length unless copper.
Fiberglass insulation must be new in bag. Loose fiberglass insulation will not be accepted.

We accept all hand, garden, and power tools that are in good, working order.
We accept usable quantities of nails, screws, nuts, bolts, connectors, etc. However, current stock will be considered at time of donation.
Power tools must have all parts, including battery and charger. Cords cannot be frayed or damaged.
We do not accept tools or hardware with extreme rust unless vintage.

We only accept LED light bulbs. We do not accept fluorescent, incandescent, or halogen light bulbs.
We accept breakers, panels, wire, outlet boxes, covers, & switches.
We accept most light fixtures that are in good, non-rusty condition. However, current stock will be considered at the time of donation.

All flooring must be free of rot, termites, termite damage, glue, twisting, warping, and must be free of nails and staples.
Vinyl and laminate flooring must be new in box or be more than 100 sq. ft.
Vinyl sheet, vinyl tile, ceramic tile, cork, and carpet tiles must be new.
Tile must be free of grout and adhesive or thinset. No chips, broken pieces, or cutoffs please.
We do not accept used or open grout or tile adhesive.

We do not accept cultured marble.
We only accept new particle board or plywood with laminate finish countertops. d
Corian countertops are accepted on a limited basis depending on stock.
Granite, stone, marble, quartz, soapstone, butcher block or wood, stainless steel, glass, and travertine countertops must be at least 3 sq. ft. of useable material.
Metal sinks and sink clips that are inside countertops must be free of excessive rust.

We do not accept cabinets with evidence of water damage such as swelling, de-laminating, or splitting.
Must have all hinges, working doors, and drawers (solid wood construction preferred).
All doors and drawers must be attached and intact.

We accept new, unopened paint and stains of all sizes.
Painting supplies such as roller frames, trays, liners and grids, scrapers, drop cloths, sandpaper and blocks, bristle and wire brushes, caulking gun, and masking tape must be new
We do not accept paint thinners whether used or unused.

We accept most residential sinks and toilets that are in good, working condition (current stock will be taken into account at time of donation).
Sinks must be free of chips, cracks, and excessive rust.
Pedestal sinks must include both sink bowl and pedestal.
New commercial toilets and urinals are accepted on a limited basis.
We do not accept cultured marble sinks and commercial wall-mounted sinks.
We accept pipe supplies, fittings, and complete faucet fixture sets.
We accept fiberglass, steel, claw foot, and free-standing bathtubs.
Steel and cast iron tubs are accepted on a limited basis.
We accept new, or like-new toilets that are low-flow (1.6 gpf or less). Tank and bowl must be assembled.

We accept all doors, windows, and window screens with operational tracking and framing.
We do not accept door/window glass that is not in its frame unless it is jalousie glass.
All items must be free of rot, rust, termites, termite damage, bowing, twisting, & structural damage.
Thermopane seals must be intact - i.e., no fogging.

We accept new asphalt or metal shingle, panel, or rolls.
We accept corrugated, metal, and plastic sheeting - must be at least four sq. ft. of usable material.
We accept new tar paper and roofing membrane
Accepted on a limited basis: Monier field tiles and ridge caps (concrete or clay).

Masonry, such as bricks, pavers, concrete blocks, and glass blocks, must be free of mortar and be completely intact. Clay brick is the exception, which we will accept with minimal mortar.
