Commissioned items from our Workshop are investments in local, sustainable products meticulously designed for your needs.

Our workshop collaborates with local businesses, organizations, and individuals to create pieces that reflect their own unique styles and their commitment to sustainability. All of our projects are made out of lumber salvaged from our deconstruction projects.

Past Projects

Better Block Hawai‘i

We’ve worked with Better Block Hawai‘i on several community betterment projects including tree-planter seating areas and parklets, like the one pictured above.
Kona Brewing Co.

We worked with interior designers to create Kona Brewing Cos. brewery tour pictured above. The floating shelves were made from old-growth lumber, reclaimed from Jim Naber’s deconstructed home!
Fisherman's Wharf at Hakuone

Our workshop was commissioned to create over 30 pieces of furniture for the food truck area at Fisherman’s Wharf Hakuone. The picnic tables were made completely out of bleacher boards salvaged from Pearl City Intermediate.
Redwood Photographer's Bench

Phil, our In-house Craftsman, designed and built a custom, foldable, Redwood bench for one of our supporters. The Redwood came from our deconstruction projects.
HEMIC

Hawai‘i Employers’ Mutual Insurance (HEMIC) used various salvaged material from Re-use Hawai‘i in the interior design of the company’s office space. Pictured above are reclaimed beams from what was formerly Ward Warehouse, the design is by Ferraro Choi.
AveryLily Design Studio

AveryLily Design Studio contacted us because they wanted uniquely designed furniture made from sustainable materials. Our workshop crafted two long tables made from salvaged redwood, as well as bookshelves made from subfloor.
